Culinary Creations
Kansas City, Kansas-based Culinary Creations is a catering firm founded by chef Eric Rodericks in 2018. After 20 years of tending bars and leading kitchens in some of the best restaurants and nightspots in Kansas City, he and his team have been happily working with the Ball Event Center since early 2021. They’ve been winning attention – and awards – ever since. In 2022, Culinary Creations won Best of Wedding Picks from The Knot and the Couples Choice Award from Wedding Wire.
“The best part of these awards is that they’re voted on by real customers or based on real reviews,” Eric boasts – and rightfully so.
“It’s all about flexibility,” he says and tells a story about a bride who wanted pad Thai for her wedding dinner and could not find a caterer in Kansas City who could make it. “I’ve never made pad Thai in my life, but we gave it a shot and we nailed it! I’ve gone off-menu so many times for so many different cuisines; it’s not even funny.”
Culinary Creations regularly goes above and beyond the merely expected, and Eric declares that the company’s specialty is accommodating unusual requests. In fact, they won the Kansas City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Taco Battle in 2019!
He and his colleagues enjoy working with the Ball Event Center. The kitchen and facilities are first rate and, best of all, Michael and his team are easy to work with.
He’s always excited to see his vendors come in, and he lets us do our thing, clean up, and get out,” Eric says. “They’re gonna let you be you.”
The reliability and quality that the Ball Event Center provides its customers are only as good as that provided by the dozens of vendors they work with, in whatever capacity. Culinary Creations has proven to be an excellent partner in creating events and, most importantly, relationships that make every event memorable and every attendee happy.
