We just wrapped up playing host to our Fall Bridal Show at Ball Event Center! Thirteen of Kansas City’s finest vendors attended the show, and it was a huge hit! The ballroom was filled with laughter and music from our DJ, Brandon, with Complete Weddings+Events. Brides and guests in attendance wondered freely about the ballroom as they sampled hors d’oeuvres from Zarda Bar-B-Q (the Limited Reserve Burnt Ends were divine!), and drinks were served by Diamond Girls Bartenders.
Each vendor provided a prize valued at $75 or more and the brides were given tickets to put in the raffle and choose which prizes they would like to win. Eager brides had a chance at winning over $2,000 worth of prizes, like a $75 Ulta Beauty gift card from The Looking Glass Photo Booths and Dinner for Four with Plaza Catering.
The show ran from 5 PM to 8 PM to give brides and guests ample time to talk with vendors and enjoy the food and drinks provided. If you didn’t have a chance to sample the cakes from The Sweet Nook then you missed out! The Sweet Nook had many different cake flavors to sample and the Red Velvet was a HUGE hit. Heart + Soul floral had a beautiful booth, lush with gorgeous floral bouquets and centerpieces. It was absolutely stunning!
We cannot thank all of the vendors enough who attended the show. This event could not have happened without their participation, and we are so appreciative of all their hard work. At the end of the evening, we drew for our grand prize, a $100 Visa Card gift card provided by Ball Event Center This was the prize everyone was waiting for! After much anticipation, Emily was drawn as the lucky winner! Emily is a bride who can’t wait to marry her fiance, Jerren, a few years from now in 2020. The happy couple have been together for almost 2 years where he proposed to her during their senior pictures. Their favorite thing to do together are to go on Chipotle dates, or cozy up and watch Little Nicky. Emily was thrilled and shocked when she heard her name called and knew exactly what she was going to use the gift card for – new shoes!
