Alex and Troy Karlix recently celebrated their marriage with all of their closest family and friends at Ball Event Center! The wonderful evening started with an introduction of the bridal party, a delicious dinner, followed by a few touching speeches, and a night of dancing.
Alex and Troy met during a group project in high school but didn’t start dating until their freshmen year at Kansas State University. They had been dating almost 6 years when they decided to tie the knot and celebrate at Ball Event Center!
“We chose Ball for our reception because Troy’s brother had their reception here, so we were familiar with it. We’re also both from Olathe, so it just made sense,” said Bride, Alex.
Dinner was served, followed by a humorous speech by the Best Man, a couple tearful toasts by the two Sisters of the Bride, and some heartfelt advice from the Father of the Bride. The Bride and Groom cut their elegant wedding cake and shared their first dance together as husband and wife to “Hold You In My Arms” by Ray LaMontagne.
