The Olathe KVC (Kids Value Connections) Behavioral Healthcare facility is a not-for-profit organization focused on the enrichment and enhancement of the lives of children and families. During the construction of the new building, a portion of the space was designed to house the Ball Event Center. When you host an event at Ball Event Center, you are supporting KVC.
A groundbreaking was held on May 29, 2014 to expand both the KVC and the Ball Event Center, allowing for 100+ more guests in the facility – making weddings and corporate events and parties easy to plan and enjoy.
KVC also notes that “The $6 million initiative to expand the facilities will also increase KVC’s ability to serve children and families, and to lead the nation in child welfare and behavioral healthcare innovations. The campaign will result in a new institute, based in Olathe, KS (greater Kansas City area), which will reduce the time it takes to get the latest evidence-based practices from the academic research realm to real-world practice.
The expanded KVC campus will include an Interactive Adoption Center that combines video conferencing, social media and other cutting-edge technologies to help more children find their forever family. It will also consolidate two of our largest offices into one location, significantly reducing operating costs while creating a better place to serve families.”
Completion of the project is expected in 2015.
